NETWORK REBRAND -SYFY
Student Work
For this project, students were tasked with designing a hypothetical network rebrand package for an existing television network. The three part assignment was to include an end page, menu, and lower third. I selected Syfy, being deeply inspired by the breadth of cultural images of both science fiction and fantasy, and how those images have taken shape across various eras.

GENERATE 2019 - INTO THE SUNSET
Sponsored by Turner Studios
Winner - "Most Creative"
In collaboration with Turner Studios, students formed groups to complete an assigned challenge within 24 hours. The challenge for this year was to develop an endpage for a Turner Classic Movies s spaghetti western event entitled "Into the Sunset". Our group included Huda Abdul-Razzak, Jungeun Kim, Sooji Hong, Lee Kirk, and myself. Our approach was to use non-literal imagery to subtley convey the feeling of the genre without relying on cliche. We utilized overlapping and "dueling" Southwestern textile patterns to evoke the iconic poncho worn by Clint Eastwood in "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly." Our unique approach earned our team the "Most Creative" award at Generate 2019.
